udevil is an alternative to udisks:

Mount / unmount removable devices without being root (also mounts
ISO / nfs://, smb://, ftp://, ssh:// WebDAV URLs, and tmpfs/ramfs.

SUID bit removed & tested as in & out of the plugdev group.
