Subject: [PATCH] Allow configure to run on netbsd

NetBSD's shell (/bin/sh) doesn't support '+='. Removing '+=' allows
configure to run and the library to compile.

This matches configure.ac in boothj5/profanity which also doesn't
use '+='.
