NPTL sh4 port build and work fine. All committed to allow Khem Ray working on a working branch to integrate the ARM nptl port. MIPS nptl port not tested but should still building and working fine. branch is now the exact code that I have. I am going to re-run tests now to verify everything one more time. The next step after that is to merge from trunk with the latest stuff from Mike and Peter.

Some utilities, such as valgrind, have a legitimate reason to know the address
of the current brk. Since we know such utils will peek under our skirt, we
might as well give them what they expect and not use a gratuitously different
symbol name.
