* bits/kernel_stat.h: no need for _LIBC guard, the file is not installed on targetPeter S. Mazinger2011-03-091-4/+0

* bits/mmap.h: unify ala linux asm-generic effortsMike Frysinger2009-11-231-102/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Most ports have the same exact mman bit defines, so let's unify things like the linux kernel has with the asm-generic efforts. A few ports are left behind as they are non-trivial to merge -- the arch maintainers can tackle it if they care. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* clean up O_CLOEXEC handlingMike Frysinger2009-10-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | Drop the "#ifndef O_CLOEXEC" cruft, enable O_CLOEXEC in most fcntl.h headers, and import __ASSUME_O_CLOEXEC from glibc. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* trim Experimentally off and uncommented hiddenBernhard Reutner-Fischer2009-09-181-1/+0
| | | | | | | | sed -i -e '/Experimentally off - /d' $(grep -rl "Experimentally off - " *) sed -i -e '/^\/\*[[:space:]]*libc_hidden_proto(/d' $(grep -rl "libc_hidden_proto" *) should be a nop Signed-off-by: Bernhard Reutner-Fischer <rep.dot.nop@gmail.com>
* honour NO_LONG_DOUBLE_MATHBernhard Reutner-Fischer2009-08-301-0/+4
| | | | | | | | This fixes compilation errors on hosts that turn off long double support for C99 like powerpc32. Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Bernhard Reutner-Fischer <rep.dot.nop@gmail.com>
* m68k syscall: switch to common codeMaxim Kuvyrkov2009-08-133-204/+69

* build: Include Makefile.commonarch from common Makefile.inCarmelo Amoroso2009-07-291-2/+0
| | | | | | | | Avoid including akefile.commonarch in each Makefile.arch. Include it instead from Makefile.in just after the arch specific Makefile.arch Signed-off-by: Carmelo Amoroso <carmelo.amoroso@st.com>
* add missing UTIME_* defines for *at funcsMike Frysinger2009-07-261-1/+6
| | | | | | I always forget that many arches have their own bits/stat.h ... Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* enable nanosecond stat support for everyoneMike Frysinger2009-07-262-14/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Fill out the stat structure so that the nanosecond resolution support is always available. There is a small code size increase for a few ports (three additional assignments in xstatconv), but otherwise everything should remain the same. While we're here, punt __old_kernel_stat from the few headers that still define it as it is unused in uClibc and causes compile errors after these nanosecond changes. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* byteswap: unify common definitionsMike Frysinger2009-07-211-40/+10
| | | | | | | | | The majority of the byteswap functions are the same across all arches, so setup a common header to provide definitions if they don't exist. This allows arches to override only the ones they actually want to implement with inline assembly. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
* uClibc_arch_features: sync defines between portsMike Frysinger2009-07-031-0/+6
| | | | | | | Make sure each arch has the same complete list to make comparing between them easier. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>

* A patch from our Blackfin repository, originally from Jie Zhang. This fixesBernd Schmidt2008-01-171-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | a problem where the linker was trying to use the wrong symbol name for the init function. Define SYMBOL_PREFIX as _ in Rules.mak for h8300, bfin, i960, microblaze, and v850. Add -D__UCLIBC_UNDERSCORES__ in CFLAGS for targets which define SYMBOL_PREFIX as _. Remove defines and undefs from uClibc_arch_features.h of each target. Add $(SYMBOL_PREFIX) to __uClibc_init when passed by ld option -init.

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Until a few months ago, libc/sysdeps/linux/m68k/clone.S defined __syscall_error itself. This local definition was removed in revision 13305: However, the clone code uses bcc.w to branch to __syscall_error. This made sense when there was a local definition, because the label was guaranteed to be in range. We can't guarantee that the external definition will be in range though; it depends on the order that the objects are linked. This patch adjusts clone.S to use jbcc instead.

| | | | | | m68k uClinux doesn't use the normal ELF entry point interface. This patch adjusts crt1.S accordingly. I've followed the ARM example and keyed the choice of interface on __ARCH_USE_MMU__.

* Fix from Thomas Brinker for byte swapping on Coldfire processors and tested ↵Mike Frysinger2006-03-281-1/+1
| | | | by Richard Sandiford
* Richard Sandiford writes:Mike Frysinger2006-03-232-8/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes a miscompilation of mmap() for Coldfire with gcc 4.x. The problem was that the syscall was being invoked before any part of the argument structure (buffer[]) had been initialised. The outcome of gcc PR 19341 is that volatile asms don't implicitly use or clobber memory, and that "memory" must be explicitly listed in the clobber list: http://gcc.gnu.org/PR19341 All syscalls can potentially use or clobber memory, so this patch adds a "memory" clobber to all the m68k syscall wrappers that I could find.
