| | | | | | | | | | | | | Hello, I whould like to share this simple patch that add the eventfd call to uClibc. Please review so it can be accepted to be merged. * guard *_chk() related stuff with UCLIBC_HAS_FORTIFYPeter S. Mazinger2011-03-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Guard x86_64 memset_chk/memcpy_chk be guarded by UCLIBC_HAS_FORTIFY. Compile ssp.c if one of SSP/FORTIFY is defined. Guard __chk_fail() with UCLIBC_HAS_FORTIFY and move its prototype to libc-internal.h. Disable _FORTIFY_SOURCE if UCLIBC_HAS_FORTIFY is not set. The config option itself is omitted on purpose, headers need to be reviewed and generic *_chk() functions need to be first provided. Signed-off-by: Peter S. Mazinger <ps.m@gmx.net>

* Fix msync() redefinition for noMMU buildBernhard Reutner-Fischer2010-10-271-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | An architecture that _may_ have a MMU (and thus implements the msync syscall), but for which the kernel and uClibc are built as noMMU, we have a stub for msync. Thanks to Steven J. Magnani for noticing. Signed-off-by: Bernhard Reutner-Fischer <rep.dot.nop@gmail.com>
* nptl: Fix libpthread build when UCLIBC_LINUX_SPECIFIC is disabledCarmelo Amoroso2010-09-201-1/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | NPTL library needs both madvise and statfs symbols, that are guarded by UCLIBC_LINUX_SPECIFIC option. This fix provides these symbols too when NPTL is used, indipendently by UCLIBC_LINUX_SPECIFIC choice. Otherwise libpthread link fails as below: LD libpthread-0.9.32-git.so libpthread/nptl/libpthread_so.a(pthread_create.oS): In function `__free_tcb': pthread_create.c:(.text+0x1184): undefined reference to `madvise' libpthread/nptl/libpthread_so.a(sem_open.oS): In function `__where_is_shmfs': sem_open.c:(.text+0x764): undefined reference to `statfs' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [lib/libpthread.so] Error 1 Signed-off-by: Carmelo Amoroso <carmelo.amoroso@st.com>
* libc: Fix cancellation handling in some C functionsSalvatore Cro2010-09-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | According to POSIX.1-2008 standard, the following syscalls shall be cancellation points : waitid, sleep, fdatasync, ppoll. Further, if generic syscall is not available and stubs are configured, provide the stub implementation for function. * enable sbrk() for everyoneMike Frysinger2009-07-261-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | The sbrk() function can be used to merely query sizes and for that, no-mmu works the same as mmu. It can also sometimes increase data segments on no-mmu systems provided the trailing memory is free. So, there is no real reason to exclude this function for no-mmu ports. * - Fix gcc glitch with mremap and IMA.Bernhard Reutner-Fischer2008-05-301-0/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | For -combine, make sure that we don't pollute our non-varargs mremap decl with some vararg decl from later in the TU by putting ours after anybody else who is picking up mman.h. This is admittedly a small work-around.. smallish testcase: $ cat bug.h extern void *mremap (void*, unsigned, unsigned, int, ...); $ cat bug1.c #include "bug.h" int whatever; $ cat bug2.c #define mremap _hidemremap #include "bug.h" #undef mremap void *mremap (void*, unsigned, unsigned, int, void*); $ gcc -c bug1.c bug2.c $ gcc -c bug1.c bug2.c -combine bug2.c:4: error: conflicting types for ‘mremap’ bug.h:1: error: previous declaration of ‘mremap’ was here
